THE CHALLENGE

Tablet gaming is on the rise, but, traditionally, tablet games haven’t provided the rich, console gaming experience.  What if an innovator like Activision brought the wildly successful Skylanders franchise to life on tablet in its exact console form?  And how can we effectively convey this new tablet gaming experience to holiday shoppers?

 

THE BIG. SIMPLE. IDEA.

During the 2014 holiday shopping season, Gigunda launched its third tour in support of a Skylanders release, partnering with Activision to promote the arrival of Skylanders Trap Team on tablet.  Over the course of six weeks, we visited 18 mall properties from coast-to-coast, providing hands-on demos, distributing free character posters, and connecting with the legions of current and potential fans of the Skylanders universe. The entire activation setup was designed, fabricated, and launched by Gigunda in record time—just two weeks—to be ready in time for the Black Friday rush.
